Dryer filters are designed to filter instrument gas used in control of instruments and pneumatically actuated valves from mechanical impurities and condensate. The filters may be used as a part of different assemblies and skids, such as automatic gas distribution stations, startup and instrument gas treatment units, booster compressor stations, block and pressure control valves. Filter makes have their body with ¾ volume filled with moist absorber (silica gel, alumogel and etc.) placed to the bottom between two grates. Bottom part of empty volume is intended to collect condensate that is periodicaly (automatically or manually) drained through the drain connection. Dryer filter operation logic is based on moist absorber's feature to accumulate large amounts of moist in a relatively small volume. The filters have split welded body designs.
