Gas Conditioning Packages (PPG) are designed to treat and heat gas, control its pressure, measure flow and monitor quality. Gas at reduced (increased) pressure is delivered to gas turbines, steam and gas units and other power generation facilities at steady outlet pressure regardless the consumption/ demand and consumer’s inlet pressure. PPG packages may have extra functions added upon request.

PPG packages provide:

  • gas treatment to remove droplets and mechanical particles followed by manual or automatic drain of treatment wastes;
  • process or commercial gas flow measurement and recording throughout the flow range with respect to readings (pressure, temperature, dew point etc.);
  • gas heating;
  • gas pressure reduction form high to set lower, maintaining it at given accuracy during inlet gas pressure or flow fluctuations;
  • 24x7 automatic control over the operation condition for skid-mounted process equipment;
  • remote emergency alarms and routine process readings;
  • automatic condensate drains to the rundown tank;
  • emergency UPS power supply from accumulator batteries;
  • water or electric heating // heaters for hazardous area installation// for all skids;
  • gas quality reading instruments to be added to the scope upon request.

The list of functionality options for PPG packages may be customized to Customer needs.

In addition to delivering gas to steam& gas units or feeding the gas turbine, PPG packages may have extra outlet connections for gas to be route for power plant’s utilities.

PPG packages may run together with compressor stations at Customer’s power plant gas facility, depending on the requested gas pressure; with downstream gas routed to either compressor or gas pressure reduction package.
